Hope Chest, Astral and Tomihira play an all age show at The Rickshaw Stop tonight - which would be my first choice if I were in town. At 8pm, you can catch Mallory, Swim to Sydney and Tom Argus playing Brainwash Cafe. There is another option for 8pm - the show from Karinda Dobbins, Kristee Ono, Johan Miranda, Jason Dove and Rajeev Dhar at Lost Weekend Video. Sworn Vengence, Alcatraz and Domination have an all age 8pm show on at 924 Gilman Street. Fever Charm and False Priest both have record releases, along with music from Rin Tin Tiger and Everyone Is Dirty at BOTH for $10 at 8-30. At 3-30, you could catch Sad Boys, Drapetomania, Neon Piss and Kommplex playing The Knockout. At 8, you might fancy hearing from Thomas Carnacki, Jerry Smith and French Radio at Suberranean Arthouse. Some Ember, Excuses and Believe play a $6 show at 6pm at The Hemlock.

At 8, you could catch Ovens, Violent Change, Pandiscordian Necrogenesis and Love Devotion playing a show at The Knockout. Guntown, The Dulldrums, Treemotel and Brasil have a $6 show on from 9 at The Elbo Room for 21+ peeps.

The Knockout has an 8-30pm show from Tender Buttons, Bitter Fruit and No Bone, tonight. The Shape, Mountain Tamer and Midnight Snackers play a $6 show at The Hemlock, starting 8-30. You could catch Cuban Cigar Crisis, MudMouth, Loose Cannons and Kindergarden Communist at The Stork Club, if you are in Oakland with $5 at 9.
