The Sonic Sounds, Alameda Bar Band and The Cheets play a donation show from 4pm - doors at 2 - at The Starry Plough. A tad out of town but a free show can be found from The Lucky Eejits, High & Tight, Box Office Poison and The Chicken Thieves playing from 8pm at Gale's Central Club in Petaluma.

It is The Rickshaw Stop's 10th Anniversary Week - so you can get a $65 week long pass if you fancy a few of their shows. Tonight you can catch The Spits, Violent Change and Crez Deedee from 8pm. One night only tix cost $15.

You could catch Cold Beat, Tony Molina and Yi playing Oakland's Uptown for free from 9pm - doors at 6.
