3,2,1, with... Techung

Q: Which 3 local bands you would like to share a show with?

A: 1.Chaksampa 2. Steven Kent 3. Karma Moffit

Q: What are your favorite 2 SF venues?

A: 1. The Hillside Club 2. Craneville Pavilion

Q: What is the number 1 piece of news relating to your music at the moment?

A: The ongoing immolations inside Tibet, yesterday 3 more Tibetans died by self-immolation. The fact that, in these people's eyes, taking one's life is a better option than living under the Chinese Government's violent repressive regime is terribly upsetting to me. Our culture is under massive threat of extinction, and I sing to remind Tibetans and individuals worldwide not to give up hope, to never give up the belief that our small community can succeed at maintaining our unique and treasured culture and regain freedom in their native Tibet through peace and nonviolence.

Check the blog I posted earlier today to see when and where Techung plays in the local area as a part of his tour...
